On February 21, 2026, Dr. Laun attended the Airway Interventions and Management in Emergencies (AIME) Clinical Cadaver Course in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The program was led by 6 Canadian physician faculty instructors and included 25 total attendees — 18 Canadian physicians and Dr. Laun as the only U.S. attendee in the course. He was also the only oral and maxillofacial surgeon in attendance.
This intensive, hands-on cadaver training reinforced both core and advanced airway management skills for emergency scenarios. Through realistic clinical simulation, participants refined their ability to manage complex airway situations with precision, confidence, and efficiency.
