Our Smile Restoration Process

Your full arch treatment process begins with a personalized consultation with our oral surgeon. This treatment requires an incredible amount of detail and precision to produce the desired results as well as provide lasting functional, aesthetic, and health benefits. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your expectations for treatment, evaluate your oral health needs, and complete a CBCT scan and take digital impressions. This information will help us create treatment plans that fit your unique needs, smile goals, and budget. Even if you have extensive bone loss or a compromising medical condition, our oral surgeon has the expertise to provide custom solutions.

Exam Room tech & tools

Using the CBCT scan and digital impressions, we’ll have custom-fabricated surgical guides made that will assist us during your surgery. The surgical guides may be fabricated by a dental laboratory or we may utilize the proven precision of our X-Guide® from X-Nav Technologies to design a dynamic surgical guide. Using the surgical guides, your dental implants are placed in the pre-determined locations in your bone to maximize their primary stability and long-term function. We’ll provide custom sedation or anesthesia for this procedure, so you can remain comfortable during your surgery.

Digital planning of your new smile to fit both your aesthetic and functional goals is completed early in the treatment process. In doing this, your restorative dentist can design a temporary removable denture or we can have your temporary replacement teeth prepared and ready to be attached to your implants the day of your surgery.

Healing after your surgery will take at least three months, during which time the bone will fuse around the dental implants to keep them secure. You’ll experience normal function and aesthetics with your temporary in place during this phase. Once you’ve fully recovered, you’ll return to your restorative dentist’s office to have your final restoration designed and fabricated. Regardless of which full arch solution you choose, this restoration will significantly increase your ability to bite and chew foods, look and feel completely natural, and give your confidence and health a boost! Enjoy the lasting benefits of your full mouth dental implants for years to come!
