Providing New Smiles Near Jackson County, IL

We use advanced technology in every full arch treatment in order to assist our expert oral surgeon in planning your surgery and placing your implants. Specifically, our virtual treatment planning and Cone Beam CT guided surgery system optimize both the stability of your implants for the prosthetic attachment and the long-term success of treatment.

Digital planning of your new smile to fit both your aesthetic and functional goals is completed early in the treatment process. In doing this, we can have your temporary replacement teeth prepared and ready to be attached to your implants the day of surgery. You will be able to leave our office with a set of temporary, non-removable teeth that are attached to four or more implants. Once the implants heal, you will be ready for your restorative dentist to custom design and fabricate your set of permanent, non-removable teeth.

Dental Implants

Dental implants mimic the functional qualities of natural teeth, restoring your ability to bite and chew comfortably. Titanium dental implant posts are surgically placed in the jawbone to replace missing teeth. The prosthesis is designed to look like your natural teeth.

Full Mouth Dental Implants

With full mouth dental implants, four or more dental implant posts are strategically placed in the patients mouth so they can stabilize a full mouth prosthesis. With full mouth dental implants, patients can eat the foods they want, speak with ease, and have the confidence to share their smile.

Sedation Dentistry

IV sedation is administered intravenously and can be customized for maximum comfort and pain control. While you’ll remain conscious and responsive to verbal commands, you may feel drowsy and relaxed enough to sleep lightly and wake with little-to-no memory of your appointment.

Implant Supported Dentures

A permanent full-arch solution that combines the aesthetic benefits of dentures with the health and function provided. Implant supported dentures are the more stable, more comfortable alternative to traditional dentures and missing teeth, able to lead a functional, confident life once again.

Options for Any Number of Missing Teeth

Dental implants are the most versatile tooth replacement solution available today, able to replace one, several, or all unsalvageable or missing teeth. They’re made up of three parts: the implant post that is surgically placed into the jawbone, the permanent restoration, and the connecting abutment. Dental implant restorations include a single dental crown, a dental bridge, and removable or fixed full arch solutions, including implant supported overdentures, fixed hybrid prostheses, and the Conus Concept full mouth dental implants.

Designed for permanent support and strength, dental implants require meticulous surgical planning and the expertise of a trained surgeon to be placed in locations and angles in the jaw that provide the greatest functional and aesthetic outcomes. Our oral surgeon is trained and experienced in the latest minimally invasive techniques and full anesthesia options to ensure your comfort. Our team also utilizes state-of-the-art surgical technology, including CBCT scans and guided surgery from X-Nav Technologies to complete your treatment at the highest standard of precision and personalization. In most cases, we can provide a new tooth or set of teeth the day of your dental implant placement so you can begin receiving the lasting benefits immediately!

Frequently Asked Implant Questions Near Jackson County, IL

Seeing an implantologist ensures you receive specialized care for dental implants. They offer expertise in surgical placement and restoration. This specialized attention maximizes the success and longevity of your implants, providing a better fit, function, and aesthetic result.

Replacing missing teeth is essential to prevent bone loss and maintain proper dental alignment, supporting oral function and facial structure. It also enhances your ability to chew, speak, and smile confidently.

Dental implant surgery is generally performed with anesthesia, minimizing pain during the procedure itself, but some discomfort and soreness after the anesthesia wears off are common and manageable with over-the-counter pain relievers.

Dental implants, dentures, and bridges all replace missing teeth, but differ significantly in their approach, cost, and longevity. Implants are the most natural-feeling and longest-lasting, while dentures are removable and bridges are fixed, supported by adjacent teeth or implants.

While dental implants can occasionally develop an infection, known as peri-implantitis, maintaining good oral hygiene and visiting your dentist regularly is usually all it takes to keep your implant healthy. With the right care, most people enjoy their implants without any issues.

Yes, dental implants are often an excellent option for seniors, as they provide a long-lasting solution for missing teeth and help maintain jawbone health. Age is not typically a barrier; overall health and bone density are more important factors in determining implant candidacy.
